OUR PEOPLE

We build infrastructure and capability, because when we support each other we build stronger outcomes for all.

We are proudly Indigenous-owned and led, bringing together cultural knowledge with the technical experience needed to deliver complex projects. Our team reflects the communities we work with. We prioritise collaboration over hierarchy and respect lived experience as much as formal training.

Whether on Country, on site or in the office, we invest in people who care about doing things the right way. That means being accountable for outcomes and helping each other grow.

Our people-first approach creates space for learning, leadership and long-term opportunity, especially for First Nations workers and businesses.

OUR DIRECTORS

Murloo was born from a lifelong friendship and a deep connection to Country.

Our Directors, Jake Clemm (Gunaikurnai - Brayakaulung man) and Blake Stevens (Gunaikurnai - Krauatungalung man) have been mates since childhood, first crossing paths in Marlo, a small coastal town on Gunaikurnai Country. It's their ancestral home, and where they constantly return to reset.

Together, they bring decades of combined experience across every aspect of construction. From early works to handover, from the ground up to strategic direction. They’ve delivered major residential, commercial, Defence and public infrastructure projects across Victoria and NSW, ranging from $2m to $150m in value.

Their approach is collaborative and complementary: Blake brings calm, structure, and a focus on systems and long-term quality; Jake brings energy, momentum and a sharp instinct for delivery.

Together, Jake and Blake lead Murloo with a shared vision: to empower regional and Indigenous communities through best-practice construction.
